LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a nonprofit, charitable organization with a mission to promote independence, equality and self-reliance for people who are blind or visually impaired through rehabilitation training and relevant services, such as access to employment, education, government, information, recreation, transportation and the environment. The LightHouse is client focused and encourages teamwork, mutual respect, accountability, open-mindedness and excellent internal communications.

The many purposes of this web site include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide information to the general public about LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired’s. mission;
  • Provide information to those who might have need of our services;
  • Solicit volunteers to support LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired’s programs and services
  • Solicit contributions to support LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired’s programs and operations.
